Start automating your DataOps in three easy steps
1. Connect to a Data Source to send or ingest data
In the left bar menu, click on Sources, then click on the [CREATE NEW SOURCE] button in the top right. Select your data source. Click here for more details on adding a data source. Input your credentials. For more help with credentials, see Advanced Credentials. To configure Advanced Settings, click here.
Preview and select your Data Sets
Click on Data Sets-> Source Datasets in the left menu. You will see a list of Datasets Nexla has discovered in your sources. Clicking on a dataset box will bring up its detailed view. Edit the names of the Data Sets Nexla has scanned, if desired. Click on any Data Set and then select Preview to see attributes and sample values in that Data Set. Add descriptions to each attribute to begin your data dictionary. You can also check read stats on the data set, notifications, and errors.
Send Data to a Destination
On any dataset, click on the paper airplane icon to select the data you wish to transform and send. Here, you can also apply any transforms you need to make to your data. From there, choose the destination for the data or share it as a dataset with someone. That’s it!
